Burgess Museum - a famous child author and the creator of Peter Rabbit!  Now this home is lovingly owned by Jenny and Mike and features a custom stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs, a comfy living room with TV, wifi, a dining room with large table that seats 6 and more!  First floor you will find a full bath with walk-in shower.  Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms - 2 queen size beds and one main bedroom with king size bed and bathroom with walk-in shower.  Upstairs also includes a library space for those quiet days to relax with a good book.  An additional bathroom with tub can also be found on the second floor. The entire house is equipped with wifi, central ac and forced hot air heat for the winter.  Also in the summer the rental include use of 2 person boat with life jackets.  Bring your fishing poles and enjoy the pond.  Just across the street is the Dunbar tea room.  The neighbors are the historic Hoxie house and Jenny Grist Mill both open to the public.  Stroll to down town and enjoy a meal at the many options such as the Belfry inn, Daniel Webster inn and more!   There are multiple bakeries, coffee shops, antique shops and more in the immediate area as well. There is so much to offer in lovely historic downtown area - lovely in both the summer and winter months!  The house is just a short drive to Sandy Neck, Sandwich Marina and many lovely beaches along historic route 6a as well.
